The Westin Edmonton is a completely non-smoking facility including all guest rooms and function space.
Smoking areas are located outside the hotel.

All food and beverage served in the hotel must be provided by The Westin Edmonton due to City and
Provincial Health Regulations. Wedding cakes/cupcakes may be provided by any supplier. Please contact
your catering representative for any ethnic sweets you wish to bring in for late night snack.

A non-refundable deposit of $1500.00 is required upon signing the contract for groups of 150 people or less.

A non-refundable deposit of $2500.00 is required for groups of 151 ore more. Full prepayment is required
when final numbers are received (3 business days in advance of your function) and will be based on
estimates for beverages. Any balance outstanding after your event will be processed or refunded to the
credit card provided.

The Westin Edmonton will provide all bartenders for your event in compliance with the Alberta Liquor
Control Board (ALGC). Liquor service is permitted until 1:00 AM with last call and all beverages must be
consumed by 2:00 AM.

All live or taped entertainment/ music are subject to SOCAN fees (Society of Composers, Authors and Music
Publishers of Canada) and rates will vary based on the number of guests (see Tariff No. 8).
